FAQ: Home Cookin Prepurchase Questions

Are there additional fees after the initial purchase?

Once you purchase Home Cookin there are no added costs or ongoing subscription fees. You may use the version you purchase as long as you wish. It will never expire, and does not require internet access. You can still use the program if you are traveling, your connection goes down, or if I should ever go out of business.

In addition, your purchase includes free upgrades for one year. If a new version is released within one year of your registration date, you can simply download and install the new version. Your registration will work with the new version.

The only time you will pay an additional fee is if you choose to upgrade after that one year period. The upgrade fee is currently $19.95 and renews your registration for another year (the free upgrade period). However, you are under no obligation to upgrade if the current version meets your needs.

Can I use Home Cookin recipe software on more than one computer?

Yes. Please see the License Agreement for details.

Keep in mind Home Cookin is not designed for network use. The copies on each computer are completely independent and the information will not "sync" with the other installations. If you need to share recipes between computers, you will need to "Export" recipes from one computer, then "Import" them back in on the other computer. Or, you can simply install Home Cookin to a USB flash drive and plug it into any computer you want to use it from.
