License Agreement

Home Cookin is owned by Mountain Software of Camas, Washington USA. This agreement grants you the right to use Home Cookin, but does not transfer ownership to you. By installing or using Home Cookin, you agree to the terms of this license agreement.

Copyright

Home Cookin recipe software, documentation, graphics, and all other accompanying files are copyright Mountain Software, unless stated otherwise. You may not modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of this software. You may not make copies of this software except for backup and archival purposes. You may not sell, rent, or lease the software to others without the permission of Mountain Software.

Trial Version

The unregistered trial version may be used at no charge for 15 days. After that time most program functions will be disabled until you register the software. The trial version may be distributed freely. You may not charge a fee to distribute the trial version.

Registration

Registration commences from your date of purchase and includes free upgrades for one year. If you choose not to upgrade after the first year, your registration will never expire. Lost registration codes will be replaced at no charge if you can supply the original purchase information. Registration codes may not be sold or transferred to other persons or businesses without prior approval from Mountain Software. Unauthorized codes will be deactivated.

Renewal

Your registration includes free upgrades for one year from your date of purchase. If you choose to upgrade after the first year you must pay a renewal fee to obtain a new registration code. The new code will provide free upgrades for another year.

Multiple Installations

You may install Home Cookin on more than one computer, as long as you meet the following requirements:
  • Businesses and organizations must purchase a registration for each computer the software will be used on.
  • Each computer is for your personal use only. Friends or family members who do not live with you must purchase their own registration.
  • A single activation code may be used with a maximum of three computers (For example: One desktop computer, a netbook for the kitchen, and a laptop for traveling).
  • Only one installation will be used at any time.
Violations of these terms will result in immediate deactivation of your registration.

Refunds

Products not purchased from Mountain Software must be returned to the original vendor according to their return policies.

Users who purchased Home Cookin directly from Mountain Software may request a refund within 30 days of your purchase date. Users who purchased the CD version must return the CD to obtain a refund. Your registration code will be deactivated and you must uninstall Home Cookin from your computer.

Liability

Home Cookin is provided "as is" without any warranty. By installing Home Cookin you agree to assume all risk from the use of this product. Neither Mountain Software nor the author (Anthony Watson) will be liable for damages that occur directly or indirectly. It is your responsibility to backup your data regularly.
