FAQ: How to Send Your Log File

If you are having difficulties with Home Cookin, we may ask you to send your log file. This is a simple text file that records various settings and parameters that may help us diagnose the problem you are having. For complicated issues, we may send you a test file that will produce more detailed logs.

Open Home Cookin and perform the operation that is not working correctly for you. Then immediately close Home Cookin.

Important: The log file is erased each time you start Home Cookin. Do not open the program again until you have sent us your log file:

C:\Users\username\appdata\local\Home Cookin\status.log
  1. Click Windows Start button.

  2. Enter %localappdata% in Windows search box, then press the Enter key.
